I liked the peaceful atmosphere of the room, which had two bedrooms and convenient amenities like a microwave, electric kettle, and fridge ready for use upon my arrival.

Double room with 2 bedrooms-3 was the best. Extra facilities such as a microwave, an electric kettle, and a fridge were really useful.

Didn't like the staff, some of them were chatty.

This was a really lovely stay during our visit. The restaurant was good and the food was good. The breakfast was savoury, we can't wait to come back...

The hotel met expectations, it was an amazing stay during our visit. the property was next to the promenade, beach, and mall. There was a superb bar and fabulous food at the beach restaurant. We didn't want to say goodbye and would want to stay there again.

This place offers wheelchair accessible rooms with both front and 2 bedrooms; everyone is welcome here, making the stay enjoyable.

Spent 12 quiet days here and definitely want to stay in this area again. the hotel was reasonably large. the meals were lovely. I appreciated the marvelous and fantastic location very close to the main square at Matagorda. Supermarkets, bars, and restaurants were nearby. the breakfast was tasty. the pool bar was a plus.

It is conveniently situated near bars, restaurants, shops, and the beach. the hotel's fantastic location near the supermarket was very convenient. being close to bars, restaurants, shops, and the beach made it easy for us to explore and enjoy our time there. Don't miss the Farm for shots, just a short 5-minute walk from the hotel!

The location was fantastic, with a well-laid out promenade that runs for miles in both directions, offering beautiful beaches and easy access to shops and restaurants. The area around the hotel provided a multitude of dining choices, and we enjoyed a great lunch at Sapporo near the hotel.

Just back from a week's stay at Mar Azul Playa Aparthotel and I'm glad I booked it. the bungalows are clean, spacious, and welcoming. the small and friendly atmosphere was appealing, especially compared to larger hotels. Matagorda itself is a lovely and relaxing area with a fabulous beach. the barman, Dace, knows how to make fabulous cocktails. Highly recommend the Mar Azul Playa Aparthotel for a quiet and enjoyable stay. Cons: No A/C, but opening the windows provides reasonable airflow.
